Danielle & Blake's Dream Wedding
If you’ve ever dreamed of hosting your wedding on the San Diego Bay instead of by the San Diego Bay then you are going to love Danielle & Blake’s wedding! People always say there’s something magical about the sea and coincidentally, this couple’s love story unfolds on the water.
Danielle and Blake first met at a mutual friend’s boat party where their friendship soon blossomed. A few months followed and one day Danielle got a phone call saying Blake had been involved in a terrible car accident. She felt the sudden need to be by his side and the two spent much of Blake’s recovery together. It was during this time that their friendly affection gradually turned into love, which ultimately led to a rooftop proposal at San Diego’s US Grant Hotel. Of course, Danielle cried and said “YES!”
It was important to Danielle and Blake to have their wedding day incorporate a piece of how they met. Because of this, they chose to host their wedding with Flagship Cruises and Events. They also personalized their wedding decor with anemones, a type of windflower, as the boat they first met on was named “The Windflower”.
