The annual Crown City Classic returns to Coronado in July. Our Flagship Ferry will be making additional trips on the day of the race, Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
The expanded service will begin at 5:00am between Broadway and Coronado. The Convention Center / Coronado route will remain the same.
Additional Departures
- DEPART BROADWAY: 5:30am, 6:15am, 7:00am, 8:00am
- DEPART CORONADO: 5:50am, 6:35am, 7:30am. 8:30am
The regular schedule resumes at 9:00am. The ferry takes 15 minutes to cross the bay.
About the Crown City Run
The Crown City Classic is Coronado's official Independence Day Run. This year marks the 50th year running of the Crown City Classic 12K & 5K Run along the Coronado Bay. Starting and finishing in Tidelands Park, the course showcases the scenic views of the Coronado Bridge.
